I have known Al Kelekci for several years, both personally and professionally. As a banker in the Atlanta market, I have had the privilege of providing construction financing to Al's homebuilding company. You can count on what he says and he has an excellent reputation. We used Hask Custom Homes to help us design and build out an unfinished basement. The built out space included a workout room with rubber flooring and mirrored walls, a family room with built-in bookcases, a pool room with bar/kitchenette, a craft room, a bedroom, and a full bath. The space also included a storage closet, linen closet, and two bedroom closets. Hask helped with everything from floor to ceiling including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, walls, flooring, stonework, appliances, fixtures, etc. Al Kelekci and his team were wonderful to work with! They were very communicative from start to finish and cognizant of the budget we had in mind. Both Al and the site manager were always professional and responsive. They were also very patient in explaining work and projects along the way. I was impressed with all the subcontractors on site and thought all were professional and all cleaned up well after themselves. We were pleased with our project from start to finish and are loving our new basement! Friends that see it are "wowed" by how great it looks - particularly those that saw it unfinished. We have referred Hask to several friends already.

After several recommendations, we hired Hask to build a custom home in Brookhaven. Al helped us hire an architect and design the plans. Al, and his superintendent, Jeff, did a great job building our house. We are very pleased with how the house was built. We have now been in the house two years and continue to be very happy with the quality of construction. We had a very good experience working with Al. Most importantly, Al is very trustworthy and does what he says. We would highly recommend Al and Hask Custom Homes.

We had a wonderful experience working with HASK Custom Homes to renovate our 4,300 square foot home. The project consisted of substantial changes to the floor plan which included creating a master suite with brand new bathroom and walk in closet, adding a powder bath, adding a laundry room, updating a bathroom, and reconfiguring another bathroom to increase its functionality. We changed flooring, changed doors and windows, etc. It was an extensive renovation and Al Kelekci and his team did a wonderful job. Not only did they finish on time and on budget, but they were fantastic to work with. They were constantly in communication with us and someone was at the house every day. We received weekly status reports and regular budget updates. We also appreciated their recommendations on which architects and vendors to utilize. We felt that they genuinely wanted us to have the home of our dreams and did everything possible to make that happen. Al is a very honest and upstanding individual and a man of his word. We would not hesitate to work with HASK again.

Hask Custom Homes and Al Kelekci (owner) did an exceptional job in building us a custom home in the Chastain Park/Buckhead area of Atlanta (completed in Jan '14). Al met with us several years prior to commencing our construction, always provided constructive thoughts/ideas and was attentive to budget considerations as though our funds were his own. ‍Al and Hask Construction provided a full service, ranging from support in finding the architect (who worked well both with us as owners and with Hask), meticulously attending to site planning, completing all plans, submitting for all permitting with the City of Atlanta, and completing a full custom construction program on schedule and within agreed budget parameters. Very slight budget variances were attributed to resumption of Atlanta's home building economy and some supply cost escalations, but these were managed professionally and with full transparency. ‍Al's subtrades work well with and for him; they also respect him .. a sign of a real professional. Al's engagement with us as owners always was timely and responsive, always helpful, and always kind. He embodies the belief that '... if the work is worth doing, it is worth doing well'. He has become a friend; his work deserves such friendship, nothing less. ‍Our Hask-built home is the 3rd new home we have built in Georgia. Al is the builder we would recommend or choose were we to build another home, and we would do so with full confidence that the work would be professionally and properly completed. He is entirely trustworthy, and remained actively engaged throughout; likewise, his project manager was actively involved. Owner of Hask Construction, Al Kelekci is amazing. He was extremely patient and professional in dealing with all our questions and concerns throughout the course of the project. His work was completed in a timely fashion and there were no unexpected surprises at all. What impressed us tremendously about Al was that all of his contractors were very high quality…from the window company to the trim guy and the flooring guy the quality was very impressive. We were converting an unfinished basement into a gym and Al's people did an amazing job working around the constrains of our space. Highly recommended!!

Hask Custom Homes was our first choice to build our home, but we interviewed several other builders who were recommended by friends and neighbors. Al (the owner of Hask) stood out from the pack immediately, and I'm so glad we hired him. We bought a Buckhead ranch off West Paces Ferry, gutted it and expanded the footprint a little. Start to finish: 5-1/2 months! Al is a gem. He has great skills in organization, budgeting, project management, and sub-contractor management. His communication is excellent. He contributes good ideas. His integrity is beyond reproach. We ended up with a cost-plus contract since we hadn't finalized the building plans/specs when we hired Hask. With the wrong builder, this could be disastrous, but Al treated our money as if it was his own (prudently!). We've now been in our home for over a year, and occasionally call Al if we have questions. He is always quick to respond. We can't recommend Al Kelekci and HASK Custom Homes highly enough, and would be more than happy to discuss our experiences with anyone considering hiring him.
