HASK Contracting was founded by Al’s father, Hasan Kelekci, in 1975. Mr. Kelekci, who holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Southern California, began building homes in Atlanta’s northern suburbs during the city’s bustling growth era of the 70’s and 80’s. Mr. Kelekci’s engineering background proved to be a major influence on his style of innovative designs, precise craftsmanship and fine building materials. It was during this period when Mr. Kelekci’s eldest son Al was introduced to the trade, starting as a carpenter’s helper, and eventually working his way up to foreman and construction manager.

Eager to be part of “huge projects and to build big buildings,” Al earned an engineering degree at Auburn University in 1987 and soon began his career in commercial and industrial construction. As a young engineer, Al was involved in projects that would define the city’s most spectacular skylines. Although he enjoyed large-scale industrial construction, he missed the intimate work process and personal connection with customers that characterized his experiences with his father’s approach to building homes for families.
In 2002, Al and his father formed HASK Construction, Inc. Together, they’ve built dozens of exclusive homes in prestigious Atlanta communities, including Buckhead, Sandy Springs and Brookhaven. Al later formed HASK Custom Homes, to focus on upscale custom homes and whole house renovations and opportunities to provide enjoyable homebuilding experiences for homebuyers. Al enjoys the chance to work each day building homes with the same care and enthusiasm he would building for his own family.
Today, Hask Custom Homes is a team of outstanding project managers, coordinators, designers, and craftsmen working together to build beautiful homes

Founded in 1975 by Al Kelekci’s father, the company began as a small family business in Atlanta’s northern suburbs. Al grew up in the trade, later earning an Industrial Engineering degree from Auburn University before contributing to major construction projects. In 2002, he and his father launched HASK Construction, Inc., building luxury homes in prestigious neighborhoods. Today, with his business partner Adam James and a skilled team, Al leads HASK Custom Homes, specializing in high-end custom homes and major renovations across Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Brookhaven, Ansley Park, Midtown, Morningside, East Cobb, and Vinings.

Adam James is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of dedicated experience in the construction industry. As a licensed general contractor, he has honed his expertise in managing and overseeing daily operations at Hask Construction, where he plays a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. His commitment to excellence and his extensive knowledge of the construction landscape makes him a valued leader within the company.
Throughout his impressive career, Adam has been involved in a diverse range of projects. His hands-on approach and attention to detail have earned him a reputation for delivering quality workmanship and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
