Incredible connection to his client's vision

We worked with Hask to build a custom home in Buckhead for our growing family. You hear horror stories about building a home from scratch. Our experience was the exact opposite - I would do it again in a heartbeat, but only if I got to work with the Hask team. Hask is trustworthy, accessible, experienced, hard working, objective, responsive, caring, sophisticated, and transparent. They made the process easy to understand and have access to various experts at every stage of the process working with their customers' interests in mind first and always. Hask made the house of our dreams come to life. I highly recommend Hask for any and all home construction projects.

We used Hask Custom Homes to help us design and build out an unfinished basement. The built out space included a workout room with rubber flooring and mirrored walls, a family room with built-in bookcases, a pool room with bar/kitchenette, a craft room, a bedroom, and a full bath. The space also included a storage closet, linen closet, and two bedroom closets. Hask helped with everything from floor to ceiling including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical, walls, flooring, stonework, appliances, fixtures, etc. Al Kelekci and his team were wonderful to work with! They were very communicative from start to finish and cognizant of the budget we had in mind. Both Al and the site manager were always professional and responsive. They were also very patient in explaining work and projects along the way. I was impressed with all the subcontractors on site and thought all were professional and all cleaned up well after themselves. We were pleased with our project from start to finish and are loving our new basement! Friends that see it are "wowed" by how great it looks - particularly those that saw it unfinished. We have referred Hask to several friends already.

We highly recommend Hask Custom Homes. It is rare to find a construction company as qualified, efficient, courteous and customer driven as Hask Custom Homes. From the moment we met with Hask to quote the project to the moment our keys were handed over on move in day, the team at Hask was there to answer any questions and meet any of our needs. Our house was built to the highest of standards and the project was completed on time and on budget. If you want a beautiful custom home, Hask is the company to build it! This is my dream house and I hope we never have to move. But if we do, I would not hesitate to use Hask Custom Homes again. I would almost be excited to start the process over.

We had a great experience with Hask Homes. One of the best things was that they worked quickly and were mindful of deadlines and proactive about lining up workers swiftly for different parts of the project. They also got things to a certain point and then vacated for Thanksgiving/Christmas. They helped us work through different construction and design issues and provided pictures of what the different options would look like, which really helped us to decide. They were responsive to texts, emails and calls. They kept us informed who would be in the house that day, and supervised workers onsite. They went the second mile to find hardware, and very kindly helped us to resolve a day-before-Thanksgiving plumbing disaster which was not even in the area of the house they were working on, just out of kindness! The foreman was very nice to have around and answered questions thoughtfully. They were able to point us to different area businesses to help us make decisions about countertops, etc. In areas where new construction ran into old, they did a great job making the new part fit in with the old. We love what they did for us, and we would do it all over again!

We had a wonderful experience working with HASK Custom Homes to renovate our 4,300 square foot home. The project consisted of substantial changes to the floor plan which included creating a master suite with brand new bathroom and walk in closet, adding a powder bath, adding a laundry room, updating a bathroom, and reconfiguring another bathroom to increase its functionality. We changed flooring, changed doors and windows, etc. It was an extensive renovation and Al Kelekci and his team did a wonderful job. Not only did they finish on time and on budget, but they were fantastic to work with. They were constantly in communication with us and someone was at the house every day. We received weekly status reports and regular budget updates. We also appreciated their recommendations on which architects and vendors to utilize. We felt that they genuinely wanted us to have the home of our dreams and did everything possible to make that happen. Al is a very honest and upstanding individual and a man of his word. We would not hesitate to work with HASK again.

Before writing this, we looked at the other customer comments on the HASK Custom Homes website. They are all true, and all express our experience as well. Al Kelekci is unlike any builder I have ever worked with. He is responsible and concerned, with high attention to detail, resulting in the highest quality work product. I have worked with other contractors over the years, and the experience was always a challenge. Once 90% of the job was completed, they were gone. Al is a sharp contrast to those experiences. He follows up, keeps in touch, to make sure everything is working the way it is supposed to work. He relentlessly tracks the work of subcontractors to be certain they are performing to his standards.It is 2011, and we have been in our home just over a year now. It was Al who called to remind us to look around for the occasional paint bubble, sheet rock ripple, or crown moulding separation from weather changes. He had a crew come through and take care of everything. More importantly, they were so clean and efficient that in the evening I could not tell which rooms they had worked on. On several occasions, involving additional work, changes we wantedat move-in, and on the one-year anniversary, we would say to the workers, ‘Oh, that’s OK,‘ or, ‘that looks fine to us.’ On more than one occasion, Al’s subcontractors responded, ‘No, Al wouldn’t like it.’ Or, ‘Al wants us to do it this way.’ Of course ‘this way,’ for Al means taking the time to be sure it is right. The subcontractors know that if they want to work on Al’s projects, there are no shortcuts.We love our home, and we have the confidence that comes from knowing that Al built it. We have thoroughly enjoyed our new home by HASK Custom Homes. The combination of construction quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail make ours a truly beautiful home. On one of our first visits, the builder took the time to walk us through the house and explain all the wonderful extras included in the home. Since then, the builder has been very responsive to our questions and the few issues that have come up. He gladly continued working with us to resolve a problem even after the 1- year warranty period was over. We have received numerous compliments on the beauty of our home and can't thank HASK enough for their excellent work!

We bought a house from Al Kelekci at HASK construction in 2006. Al went beyond our expectations with small concerns we had even after several years. 4 years after the closing, we had HASK Renovations finish one room in the basement as an exercise room. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. This was the smoothest renovation we have ever experienced. Al is an expert in his field and he treats your house as if it is his own. He has very high standards, he can listen and he is always willing to give his advice. If we ever decide to part with this house and build, we would ask HASK Construction first to be our builder!
