One of the best built homes

Al Kelekci has an incredible connection to his client's vision of their new home. It is this vision that he delivers with expertise, quality, within expected costs and expected deadline. He stays very involved throughout the project and a true delight to work with. At every chance, I recommend Al to clients and friends.

Hask Custom Homes and Al Kelekci (owner) did an exceptional job in building us a custom home in the Chastain Park/Buckhead area of Atlanta (completed in Jan '14). Al met with us several years prior to commencing our construction, always provided constructive thoughts/ideas and was attentive to budget considerations as though our funds were his own. ‍Al and Hask Construction provided a full service, ranging from support in finding the architect (who worked well both with us as owners and with Hask), meticulously attending to site planning, completing all plans, submitting for all permitting with the City of Atlanta, and completing a full custom construction program on schedule and within agreed budget parameters. Very slight budget variances were attributed to resumption of Atlanta's home building economy and some supply cost escalations, but these were managed professionally and with full transparency. ‍Al's subtrades work well with and for him; they also respect him .. a sign of a real professional. Al's engagement with us as owners always was timely and responsive, always helpful, and always kind. He embodies the belief that '... if the work is worth doing, it is worth doing well'. He has become a friend; his work deserves such friendship, nothing less. ‍Our Hask-built home is the 3rd new home we have built in Georgia. Al is the builder we would recommend or choose were we to build another home, and we would do so with full confidence that the work would be professionally and properly completed. He is entirely trustworthy, and remained actively engaged throughout; likewise, his project manager was actively involved. Record keeping was timely, accurate, and complete. ‍Al and Hask provide great value; we recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation. ‍We appreciate the privilege to comment on Al Kelekci and Hask Construction.

My husband and I contracted Hask to build seven houses over the last several years. Both Al & Adam constructed the highest quality houses on time and on budget. Adam's communication skills are excellent, with prompt follow-up to any punch list or warranty questions we had. The Hask team stands behind their work. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Hask Homes. One of the best things was that they worked quickly and were mindful of deadlines and proactive about lining up workers swiftly for different parts of the project. They also got things to a certain point and then vacated for Thanksgiving/Christmas. They helped us work through different construction and design issues and provided pictures of what the different options would look like, which really helped us to decide. They were responsive to texts, emails and calls. They kept us informed who would be in the house that day, and supervised workers onsite. They went the second mile to find hardware, and very kindly helped us to resolve a day-before-Thanksgiving plumbing disaster which was not even in the area of the house they were working on, just out of kindness! The foreman was very nice to have around and answered questions thoughtfully. They were able to point us to different area businesses to help us make decisions about countertops, etc. In areas where new construction ran into old, they did a great job making the new part fit in with the old. We love what they did for us, and we would do it all over again!

Hask Custom Homes was our first choice to build our home, but we interviewed several other builders who were recommended by friends and neighbors. Al (the owner of Hask) stood out from the pack immediately, and I'm so glad we hired him. We bought a Buckhead ranch off West Paces Ferry, gutted it and expanded the footprint a little. Start to finish: 5-1/2 months! Al is a gem. He has great skills in organization, budgeting, project management, and sub-contractor management. His communication is excellent. He contributes good ideas. His integrity is beyond reproach. We ended up with a cost-plus contract since we hadn't finalized the building plans/specs when we hired Hask. With the wrong builder, this could be disastrous, but Al treated our money as if it was his own (prudently!). We've now been in our home for over a year, and occasionally call Al if we have questions. He is always quick to respond. We can't recommend Al Kelekci and HASK Custom Homes highly enough, and would be more than happy to discuss our experiences with anyone considering hiring him.

We have been so pleased with HASK Custom Homes. It is such a refreshing change to finally work with someone with high attention to detail, professionalism, commitment, follow-through, and general helpfulness that seems to be hard to find these days! From the quality of our home and beautiful architectural details to the great customer service they provide, we have been so happy with our experience with them.

We really, really love this house and wish we could pick it up and move it to Chicago. We have been looking at homes in Chicago and we have yet to find a home that was built with the quality and attention to detail that was put into our house.

Before writing this, we looked at the other customer comments on the HASK Custom Homes website. They are all true, and all express our experience as well. Al Kelekci is unlike any builder I have ever worked with. He is responsible and concerned, with high attention to detail, resulting in the highest quality work product. I have worked with other contractors over the years, and the experience was always a challenge. Once 90% of the job was completed, they were gone. Al is a sharp contrast to those experiences. He follows up, keeps in touch, to make sure everything is working the way it is supposed to work. He relentlessly tracks the work of subcontractors to be certain they are performing to his standards.It is 2011, and we have been in our home just over a year now. It was Al who called to remind us to look around for the occasional paint bubble, sheet rock ripple, or crown moulding separation from weather changes. He had a crew come through and take care of everything. More importantly, they were so clean and efficient that in the evening I could not tell which rooms they had worked on. On several occasions, involving additional work, changes we wantedat move-in, and on the one-year anniversary, we would say to the workers, ‘Oh, that’s OK,‘ or, ‘that looks fine to us.’ On more than one occasion, Al’s subcontractors responded, ‘No, Al wouldn’t like it.’ Or, ‘Al wants us to do it this way.’ Of course ‘this way,’ for Al means taking the time to be sure it is right. The subcontractors know that if they want to work on Al’s projects, there are no shortcuts.We love our home, and we have the confidence that comes from knowing that Al built it.
